Selecting a finish for your Murphy bed is an essential step in the design process. We offer a variety of finish options sure to give you what you're looking for. This page lists all of the finishes Old Creek offers.

Piston Murphy Bed Wood Options

All of our piston mechanism Murphy beds are available in the following wood options.

Unfinished Options

You can opt to have your bed completely unfinished, and we mean unfinished, literally. When you purchase your bed in either unfinished oak or maple, you are getting a blank canvas to work with, the bed comes unprimed and untreated. So let your imagination run wild and create a work of work!

Oil Base Finish Options

Old Creek offers four oil finish options for our piston Murphy beds. Oil finishes are hand-rubbed on using a six-step finishing process.

Oak - Honey Finish

Maple - Natural Finish

Premium Stains

Our upgraded finishes are applied by hand and over series of days. Due to the labor intensive process involved with achieving these stains, upgrading your product to a premium stain will increase the standard lead time to 4-6 weeks.

Eco-Friendly Paints

To achieve the smoothest possible surface, all painted surfaces use an engineered substrate, all structural pieces are still manufactured using solid wood. Painting your item will increase the standard lead time to 4-6 weeks.

Noir Murphy Bed

Our Noir Murphy bed is available in the following laminate option. Our High-Gloss Black, available only for the Noir Collection. Using a high pressure laminate, we are able to achieve a look so ultra modern and sleek.
