Order Processing Overview
After you place your order, our team quickly gets to work on
your new wall bed. There are quite a few
different steps and procedures involved.
We want you to be well informed when it comes to the construction and
delivery of your wall bed, so read below to learn more about how our processing
system works!
Placing Order
There are three ways to place an order with Old Creek: Order online through our secure website,
contact our Customer Service department by phone, or visit our
Murphy Bed Showroom and place your order in
person. For information regarding Rush Order pricing and availability, please contact our Customer Service department.
Confirmation
After you’ve purchased one of our Murphy wall beds, you will receive a response
email confirming that your order has been received and processed, including a
copy of your exact Sales Order.
Production
Our Murphy Beds are custom built and handcrafted once you place your order. We do not have an enormous factory that
mass-produces wall beds, nor have we computerized our manufacturing process to
cut corners and save money. We build
every Murphy bed from scratch – the old fashion way. Because of this, we cannot offer next day
shipping like some other Murphy bed retailers.
What we can offer is quality, unmatched craftsmanship, and a Murphy bed
that will be as beautiful 20 years from now as it is the day you receive
it. Since our Murphy Beds are hand made,
our production time frame typically takes 3 to 5 weeks.
Packaging
After production, your wall bed lands at our distribution center, where it is
hand-inspected to guarantee the highest finish quality and construction. Once we sign off on the quality of the
product, your wall bed is securely packaged for shipment.
Shipment
At this point, you will receive an email notification stating that your item is
ready for shipment. If you are ready to
receive your Murphy bed, we will ship within 48 hours. After your Murphy bed has left our facility,
you will receive an email from us with your shipment tracking number, which you
will be able to use directly on our website to receive real-time tracking. If you indicate that you are not yet ready
for your order, we will be happy to store your Murphy bed up to one month, free
of charge. Please note that after 30
days, there is a $15/week warehousing fee.
We ship our Murphy Beds using the finest
freight companies available to ensure you receive your bed on time and in
perfect condition. Please note that
while we do our best to ensure that your Murphy bed arrives when it’s most
convenient for you, delivery dates and times cannot be guaranteed. If you find that you absolutely must have a
pre-determined delivery date and time, please contact our customer service department to
discuss a custom shipment quote. Once
our freight carrier has possession of your Murphy bed, they will ship your
order straight to the local distribution center in your area. The freight company will then contact you to
schedule a delivery window.
Arrival
You have several options when it comes to moving and assembling your new bed. Do you feel comfortable moving the bed from
the truck to your home, or would you like someone else to do it? Would you prefer to assemble your bed? How about having the delivery company remove
all excess boxes and packaging? To learn

Please inspect your Murphy bed promptly. All furniture damage claims must be filed
within 48 hours of landing. If any
damages are found, please note them on the driver's BOL and contact our Customer Service department.
