Mission Murphy Bed

After owning the bed for two years, it has worked well for us, for the most part. It's easy to deploy and is comfortable. Having a fold-down bed makes the room a versatile multipurpose room. We had one problem with the bed that has plagued us though - the light safety switch that shuts the light off when you fold the bed up. It was poorly designed in that it screws into material that is not solid. I don't remember what it was but it was a Masonite type material where the screws pull out. I've repaired it several times but it continues to fail, most recently last week. A permanent repair probably means disassembling the bed from the wall and I've been reluctant to do that. If the light switch had worked properly, this would be an outstanding product.

When you placed your order, we were using a different type of switch for our lights. We have since swapped it out for a mercury switch, which has been much more reliable. Please contact our customer service department so that we can help troubleshoot the problem you are experiencing. We want to make sure we get this resolved for you!
